• The gyrA allele was added to the genotype following feedback reports and subsequent testing that indicated that the strain is NalR.
• zfa-723::Tn10-- cotransduces 82% with gyrA. Located by PCR at nucleotide 2,341,772 (50.478 min.) within orf yfaL.
• rph-1-- is a 1 bp deletion that results in frameshift over last 15 codons and has polar effect on pyrE leading to suboptimal pyrimidine levels on minimal medium.(Jensen 1993 JBact.175:3401)
